PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

Reporting to the CEO, the Managing Director of INNATE Response will drive short and long term growth for our practitioner brand through excellence in brand strategy, financial P&L management, superior marketing campaigns, and customer engagement. This role will oversee all functions within INNATE Response including Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience and work closely with internal and external partners to drive the growth of INNATE Response.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of the P&L to ensure INNATE Response delivers on annual financial objectives - sales, profit and goals.   
  • Beyond the annual P&L, this role will lead the development of longer term strategy planning – the 5 year growth strategy and go to market plan.  
  • Help develop a first class customer engagement strategy with our top customers and distributors.
  • This role will bring all our expertise into one cohesive growth strategy for our top customers including brand strategy, innovation, education, insights, and category leadership.   
  • Drive excellence in all aspects of marketing execution including best in class consumer campaigns, promotions, pricing, and product launches.  
  • Work closes with Product Innovation and external partners to ensure we have a strong and relevant product pipeline that delivers short and long term growth objectives.
  • Help drive annual business planning and budget planning process.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You have a proven track record of at least 10-12+ years of  management experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment.

  • You must have strong brand management experience managing products in various stages of life cycle.

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

The Vice President Sales for MegaFood functions as a member of the FoodState Executive Team.  The successful candidate will create customer value by providing the vision, leadership, strategy and general management skills necessary to grow MegaFood Sales as a dominant player in the whole food supplement industry.  She/he will plan, organize, direct and control the sales activities to ensure the advancement of the company’s vision, mission, strategies and objectives to promote revenue, profitability and growth.   This Vice President ensures customer service levels are maintained and cultivates mutually beneficial relationships with customers / clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Lead, develop and implement MegaFood’s sales strategies ensuring profitable growth
  • Play a significant role in building, managing, and leading MegaFood sales efforts including P&L budget, ROI planning and goal setting
  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional business partners to optimize growth and profitability
  • Work cross functionally with the Senior Leadership Team to create a customer management model that creates new skills and capabilities within the company, as well as leverage consumer insights, marketing and innovation for growth

Set up lines and run all related machinery and equipment.  Inspect finished products.  Ability to recognize mechanical opportunities and proactively coordinate with the Maintenance Team .

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of related manufacturing experience required, ideally in a cGMP environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and transpose information accurately from work orders, labels and product lot documents.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

The Product Development Manager is the primary lead for analysis of market, category, competitive environment, trends and consumer preferences for application to the development of INNATE Response vitamins and supplements.  Works closely with members of the INNATE Response team, to create new product concepts and project business cases for executive approval to support FoodState® defining objectives and the Innate Brand strategic goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Research and develop new product business cases for executive approval. Lead the innovation process by facilitating Innovation Summits to solidify INNATE Response’s pipeline.
  • Manages content development and claim substantiation for new products and ingredients.
  • Facilitate new product training for the INNATE Team.   
  • Acts as lead in the development and completion of approved content and market research for New Product Tool Kits and for layout and content of New Product labeling.
  • As a Steering Committee member, represents all INNATE Response products and decisions related to product changes, material specifications and renovations. Lead for Steering Committee project approval presentations on all Innate product renovations and requests for new sku or related changes.
  • Responsible for providing all forecasts to Steering Committee for KPI monthly tracking for the first 18 months of a product life and to report on KPI status in monthly FoodState leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with INNATE Response team in the initial creative development process of brand messaging, artwork, product content, positioning and educational materials.  
  • Creates Executive summary and leads post-mortem analysis of product success through 18 month new product life cycle.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years experience in product development ideation, concept development and business case rationale in the natural products industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Biochemistry, Botany or related major. 
  • Expertise in labeling and marketing of Dietary Supplements under FDA guidelines and DSHEA.
  • Strong public speaking, verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Project management skills and proven ability to manage several projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in qualitative and quantitative analysis of product sales, market trends and consumer preferences.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

In this newly created position, the successful candidate will oversee areas of supply chain to include:  planning, procurement, warehousing and logistics.    Specifically, this role works to help create a plan that addresses the needs of revenue, inventory, service-level and margin optimization by driving fact-based decision making across the organization and includes stakeholders such as Finance, Marketing and Sales.  The results will ensure not only optimized operating plans but also help to support new products, portfolio optimization and commercialization strategies.  All of these activities are to be managed in accordance with the company’s goals of safety, quality, regulatory preparedness, financial performance, environmental mission, inventory controls and customer service.  This is a highly interactive position with peers in many other disciplines of the business.  The ability to prioritize, be decisive and demonstrate good judgement is imperative in this role.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee development of Supply Chain vision and strategies to support future growth to include: Demand Planning, Production Planning and Materials Planning and drive consensus utilizing collaborative S&OP process.
  • Develop and implement forecasting and deployment strategies for existing business as well as new opportunities

Territory Manager: San Francisco

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

MegaFood Territory Managers call on health food stores to increase sales in current accounts as well as generate new business.  MegaFood Territory Managers will educate and train stores on product information as well as the value of the MegaFood Brand.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Understands and conveys MegaFood vision, core values and what makes the brand/company unique in the industry
  • Visits on average 4-5 stores daily to increase dollars and shelf space and writes orders in current accounts
  • Identifies and qualifies new accounts within territory
  • Educates and trains store staff on product knowledge and value of the brand
  • Creates and maintains schedule (per period) of daily contacts and provide weekly contact reports
  • Participates in weekly conference calls with Regional Manager and Territory Managers

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for leading project management activities supporting both MegaFood and INNATE Response projects as assigned by the Director of Product Development, including: developing detailed project plans, resource requirements, managing, monitoring and controlling all project activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Work to define project scope, goals, and deliverables on assigned projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans with defined timelines, dependencies, owner of activities and resource requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a four-year college or university degree or its equivalent.
  • Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
  • Requires 3-5 or more years’ experience, preferably in project management role in a consumer goods manufacturing environment or similar environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiar with project management tools, including MS Project, Agile (PPM), or Gantt
  • Requires highly effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organization and problem solving skills.

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

We are recruiting for a Territory Leader for the Baltimore territory.  MegaFood Territory Leaders call on health food stores to increase sales in current accounts as well as generate new business.  MegaFood Territory Leaders will educate and train stores on product information as well as the value of the MegaFood Brand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Understands and conveys MegaFood vision, core values and what makes the brand/company unique in the industry
  • Visits on average 4-5 stores daily to increase dollars and shelf space and writes orders in current accounts
  • Identifies and qualifies new accounts within territory
  • Educates and trains store staff on product knowledge and value of the brand
  • Creates and maintains schedule (per period) of daily contacts and provide weekly contact reports
  • Participates in weekly conference calls with Regional Sales Leader and Territory Leaders
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings
  • Meets or exceeds company quotas in all product lines.
  • Records Store Inventories
  • Assists with store and merchandising opportunities upon request.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Shares openly their passion for health and wellness
  • 3-5 years outside sales experience with a proven track record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with MicroSoft Office and Google Apps
  • Must be a Road Warrior
  • Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and good driving record
  • Must currently live within the assigned territory
  • Must be able to travel overnight
