Inside Sales Representative - Telesales

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This person will be our biggest ambassador - with the loudest mega-phone to shout our story from the mountain tops.  You live to communicate. You love to write, talk, and tell a good story. You are a social media maven. You are relentless in getting the word out about something awesome.  The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for executing social marketing, editorial content programs and growing the communities for FoodState. The person will grow and manage FoodState’s online presence on various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and others. You will create engaging content that’s tailored to the strengths of each social channel and work with our marketing team to develop and maintain a consistent brand voice for social media. This individual must have their finger on the pulse of social media trends and join in the conversation and be able to build meaningful relationships with a variety of blogging communities.

 Professional Experience / Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FaceBook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, WordPress, LinkedIn and other awesome apps and plugins needed to be successful in this area.  Additionally (and most importantly) the ideal candidate will be a social media influencer who can put themselves into the heart of our brand and speak in our voice to anyone and everyone who will listen.

Let’s get Digital!  We at MegaFood, are looking to increase digital marketing efforts – it’s time we step-up our game.  We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manger to help us raise the bar and increase our awareness as the best whole food supplement brand that there ever was.   Primary responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Coordinator are to manage all digital marketing programs and media while executing initiatives to increase brand awareness – Yes, we know that’s a mouthful… basically we are looking for someone who has some serious online ninja skills who can manage current and future digital marketing with a focus on the   MegaFood web site, search engine optimization, digital advertising (yes this includes banner ads and things like that), social-media marketing, and email marketing.   If you are up for this challenge then we want to talk to you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support ongoing development of the MegaFood web site including the management of an external website developer and hosting company. Manage production and execution of an assortment of marketing efforts, including: email, e-newsletters, online loyalty, landing pages and general digital advertising such as banner ads and online sweepstakes and contests.
  • Manage MegaFood search engine optimization and pay per click efforts. Works in partnership with the Social Media Coordinator to best optimize all social content across all channels.
  • Report on website and social media trends and analytics.
  • Conduct additional activities in support of the Marketing and Sales teams as needed from a digital perspective.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

In order to effectively perform the functions of this position, the ideal Digital Marketing Coordinator candidate will have the following characteristics and experience:

  • A minimum of five-years of relevant experience at the corporate and / or agency level
  • Technical knowledge and experience in developing and executing web sites, promotional landing pages, email marketing, social media and digital creative assets

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

  • Responsible for purchasing functions and the development of procurement strategies for the acquisition of raw materials and supplies at FoodState.
     

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and implement purchasing strategy by applying best practices.
  • Manage relationship with co-manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with Operations team to establish inventory safety stock levels, reorder amounts, and lead times for all raw materials.
  • Work in collaboration with Innovation team in sourcing new and alternative raw materials.
  • Partner with quality and operations to ensure on-going support and communications.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with all key suppliers.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions for all issues relating to supplier’s performance based on quality, delivery, price, and overall effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market conditions to avoid sharp market increases and availability issues and communicate risks/opportunities to management.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies with supplier invoices, grievances, claims, conflicts, product non-conformance or quality issues.
  • Develop and set up tools (KPI’s, scorecards and roadmaps) to achieve targets.
  • Provide raw material and finished goods projections to key suppliers to ensure product availability on a timely basis.
  • Provide the Numbers Team with periodic raw material and finished goods material costs to assist in maintaining product costing, and projected raw material and finished goods costs.
  • Arrange supplier meetings to review and resolve any problems or issues as needed.
  • Communicate all pertinent issues and concerns regarding suppliers, raw materials, and finished goods to all appropriate staff.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS or BA in Business Administration or Management,  or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-10 years of directly related experience in the food or nutrient processing/manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong negotiation, written and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of controlling and reducing external spending while developing a robust supplier base.
  • Ability to maintain a continuously changing list of urgent priorities.
  • Experience with Google apps and Microsoft Office

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:    

The Staff Accountant will provide support to the General Accounting Manager in performing all aspects of general accounting.  This person will provide financial support and interact regularly with all functional teams within FoodState and prepare analytical work to support these teams utilizing the FoodState’s IT systems.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Provide support for all aspects of the monthly closing process.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries for various balance sheet and expense accounts; including standard, recurring, accrual and reclass entries.
  • Perform account analysis and account reconciliations on a monthly basis including both asset and liability accounts.
  • Review expense coding to ensure proper classifications of expenses.
  • Maintain fixed asset ledger and prepare depreciation, capitalization and disposal transactions related to fixed assets.
  • Perform account analysis of actual to budget/forecast and present to results to various functional teams.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting package as well as the preparation of graphs and charts used in the monthly financial presentation.
  • Prepare daily and weekly financial reports to support the FoodState team.
  • Support the numbers team by filling role of backup to the following: payroll, accounts payable, AmEx/reimbursement processing and cash application.
  • Provide support for the following: annual financial audit,  preparation of 1099s, annual workers comp and 401k audits; annual/quarterly budgeting process
  • Support the FoodState document control process.
  • Key user of general ledger, AP and PR system.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Attention to details and accuracy critical
  • Organized with excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Analytical skills with in-depth understanding of general ledger
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong systems background; experience with ERP systems (Sage or Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
  • Advanced experience on Microsoft office products particularly excel
  • Ability and strong desire to work in a team environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a staff accountant required
  • BS in Accounting
