Social Media Coordinator

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the management and execution of social media content as an online marketing strategy to attract potential new customers and build loyalty with existing ones. He/She oversees the MegaFood Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest channels and finds creative and bold ways to share the MegaFood brand story.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Understand the MegaFood brand target audience and what is important to them
  • Represent the MegaFood brand personality via its social channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube
  • Manage the monthly calendar of content, scheduling and deploying curated links and video posts across all social channels
  • Oversee the layout of social media accounts
  • Work directly with agency contacts to manage paid advertising across Facebook and Instagram. This includes promoted post content and page like campaigns
  • Facilitate all visual assets from the creative team. Responsible for requesting visuals for content as they relate to product launches/campaigns, holidays, and other one-off posts, and seeing these elements through from creation to approval
  • Execute monthly cross-promotional giveaways on Facebook & provides Content Curator with framework for post copy and imagery creation
  • Work with our content syndication partner to execute a monthly campaign
  • Monitor social follower commentary (including comments on MegaFood.com/blog), ensuring a timely response to all product and brand related inquiries and feedback as applicable
  • Work with our Regulatory department to determine and monitor what types of content we can share
  • Manage social media promotion budget and track all applicable expenses
  • Serve as an admin to our internal G+ communities
  • Develop, monitor and report on all social KPIs, tracking monthly engagements on Facebook & Instagram
  • Research social media trends and communicate findings to the MarComm team on a weekly basis
  • Help identify timely social media opportunities where MegaFood can inject itself into a relatable conversation and broaden its social reach
  • Monitor all social activity to identify user generated content (UGC) worthy of resharing
  • Help discover and respond to consumer outreach regarding influencer opportunities


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor degree and minimum three years experience with social media marketing
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop content into creative, clear and concise storytelling
  • Proficiency with social media channels; Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram in particular
  • Ability to think strategically about when, how and what type of content works best according to goals and objectives set within marketing plan
  • Interest in staying up-to-date with the social media industry and proactively sharing that knowledge upwards
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with brand team members
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Knowledge of the Google platform- sheets, docs, etc.

  • Ensures the upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the facility.
  • Performs regular inspection and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operations manuals.
  • Complies with the industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintains all records of the repair and maintenance work conducted.

PURPOSE:

  • Manages all work performed within the department, including the assignment and utilization of labor, equipment and materials to support manufacturing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures the department is running within company policies and procedures. 
  • Reviews and seeks methods to improve and increase productivity while minimizing waste.

Business Systems Analyst: Microsoft Dynamics NAV

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:


The purpose of this role is to implement, enhance and provide support for enterprise applications. The Business System Analyst will collaborate with the functional departments to understand business needs, analyze and evaluate various solutions and drive enhancements that generate business value.  The role requires a strong ability to translate business needs/strategy into deliverable IT capabilities. Individual will be responsible for determining requirements and clearly communicating them to stakeholders and partners. The participation in cross-functional teams is required to analyze business problems as well as recommend solutions or enhancements to current technologies, procedures or processes. The Business Systems Analyst acts as the liaison between the business and IT and vendor support teams, providing multi-tier support for ERP and other business applications. Role requires a high-level of customer focus and business knowledge to ensure the appropriate business needs are clearly defined, communicated and delivered at or above expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Provide Tier 1 or 2 support for existing enterprise applications as required and coordinate implementation of small to medium level enhancements
  • Analyze and trouble-shoot software errors, bugs and user inquiries
  • Support and communicate with end-users, interface with software vendors
  • Train end-users to better utilize the ERP system and tools
  • Test and QC new and modified features in the systems prior to release
  • Document system changes and new features for IT team and end-user reference

Digital Channel Sales Leader - Telecommute

In this new role, the Digital Channel Sales Leader will be responsible for the oversight, leadership and development of FoodState's national and international ecommerce business, for both the MegaFood and INNATE Response brands.   The successful leader will motivate and develop a team, strategize with our home office team as an ecommerce sales expert, as well as collaborate in developing our digital sales brand and go-to-market strategies.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy and go-to-market plan; increase revenue and profits within the ecommerce space.
  • Act as Account Manager for specific ecommerce customers

Director of Strategic Accounts - Telecommute

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Director of Strategic Accounts is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for MegaFood Key Accounts.  

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

  • Align with FoodState’s mission and values to tell our story with a positive, energetic attitude. Cascade this to the Strategic Accounts Group to convey this same story to customers, peers and colleagues.
  • Establish trust within the team and peers by effectively communicating, influencing and being accountable for deliverables.  
  • Builds an exceptional team.  Collaborates with human resources to recruit, select, and onboard new employees as well as developing current team members.   Ensure that the team is built around internal collaboration and partnership.
  • Responsible for the tactical management and and strategic leadership of the Strategic Account Group (SAG).  This includes but is not limited to team and individual development, planning and assistance in the execution of day-to-day business, while holding team accountable to sales plans and the delivery of all revenue expectations.  Also includes day to day management - compensation management, travel, field time, coaching, team development, customer meetings.
  • Responsible for the highest (C-Suite) levels of account / customer penetration.
  • Establish strategic plans, budgets  and forecasts for all Key Accounts.
  • Manages up, down and out using the appropriate collaboration tools. (written, verbal, and software).
  • Collaborates with other departments to inform and evaluate forecasts.    Takes a leadership role in the S&OP process, providing insight on account specific trends, business dynamics and latest forecasts.
  • Responsible for the leadership in and around new product launches, which includes account planning and internal forecasting.
  • Development and implementation of Channel Strategies specific to the All-Natural National and Regional retailers, Independents, the digital e-comm channel.  
  • Develops and institutes processes (SOPs) and systems to ensure focus and successful execution of strategic plans.
  • Provides thoughtful, measurable recommendations or creative solutions when needed and takes action to drive results.
  • Implement and manage the annual sales plan for Strategic Accounts including the establishment of territory / regional goals and objectives as well as tracking and reporting against objectives.
  • In coordination with the MegaFood National Sales Director, maximize field time with Territory Leaders to see account plans come to life.  Provide coaching to the TL's to develop their skills and effectiveness.  
  • Travel Requirements:  50% to office locations in New Hampshire along with other key locations domestically - based on Key/National account HQ and TL locations.  

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A track record of success in driving and scaling a high-growth, natural package goods company. Ideally, experience driving sales growth in a category-leading, mega-brand from less than $50M in sales to $100M+ in sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop an effective sales and distribution strategy; develops plans to support the strategy; ensure execution of plans.
  • Expected to be knowledgeable about market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
  • Technically savvy, eager and capable of using tools provided to streamline communications and workflow.
  • Excellent communicator, confident with creating and making presentations at company-wide meetings.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
  • Superior leadership, coaching, and motivation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years of sales experience in the sales, preferably in the natural products industry, with a minimum of 7 years in sales management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Working knowledge of the regulatory environment as it applies to Natural and Organic Industry.
  • Proven success in key account sales management (forecasting, planning and reporting) best practices (i.e. techniques, methods, processes, activities, incentives or rewards) at a best-in-class, premium-branded CPG company.

Help Desk Technician

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:

The purpose of this role is to provide on-site end-user technical support for a range of core infrastructure, workplace solutions and business application services ensuring end-user service level expectations are delivered in a courteous and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

  • Provides seamless first-level IT support to end-users for desktops, laptops, terminals, servers, network equipment, video systems, telephone systems, printers, fax machines, email, file sharing, collaboration tools and business applications.
  • Coordinates the procurement and installation of core infrastructure with vendors.
  • Coordinates and/or performs hands-on fixes to end-user devices including installing and upgrading hardware and software and configuring systems and applications.
  • Identify, research and resolves all incidents, problems and changes in line with service level expectations ensuring all end-users and stake-holders affected are kept up-to-date on status where necessary.
  • Maintains inventory of hardware assets and software licenses.
  • Creates and maintains end user documentation on procedures
  • Creates and administers Active Directory and Google Suite user accounts.

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS:
 

This highly visible, hands-on position will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team and subject matter experts to deliver transformational learning experiences to all levels of the organization with a focus on developing leadership capabilities. This position will be responsible for programmatic and consultative work associated with leadership development content and programs. This includes consulting with executive team members and employees to assess learning needs, employee readiness and performance gaps to develop strategies that align with FoodState’s business goals and objectives. This position is responsible for managing communication and execution of training initiatives and programs, reserving training space, ordering necessary supplies, room set up and break down, and material inventory and preparation. This position will also be responsible for the execution of FoodState’s formal new employee onboarding program.  This position is responsible to ensure the highest quality plans are developed and implemented that are aligned with the talent needs of the business, linked to FoodState’s key competencies, and values the cultural framework of FoodState.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Identify, design and manage targeted talent development programs, tools and processes that enhance the capability of key leaders for the entire organization.
  • Collaborate with the the Executive Leadership team to develop a succession planning model for FoodState.
  • Identify a custom FoodState portfolio of development experiences and tools for senior leaders, hi-potentials and developing managers/leaders, and tracks participation and impact of those for accelerating development.
  • Support FoodState’s Learning Management System (LMS), rollout,  design, content, and metrics.
  • Conduct organizational needs assessments to determine knowledge and skills gaps.
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, develop an overall training plan to help resolve identified skills gaps and topical training initiatives (Onboarding, Asana, Expensify, sales tools) within the company.
  • Implement metrics and analytics that effectively measure, benchmark and monitor the learning and development impact to the organization.
  • Work with external educators, vendors and consultants when necessary, and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of latest developments in management, leadership, and organizational development areas to serve as subject matter expert and internal consultant regarding critical people issues, team effectiveness, change management, employee engagement and cultural transformation.
  • Ensure that the company’s performance management system is a tool that encourages ownership of employee development opportunities and identifies essential  competency needs by employee role/leadership level.
  • Keep current on effective training delivery and/or curriculum development techniques.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • L&D EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 - 6 years in learning & development roles in a dynamic environment– including true ownership and execution of design, development, execution and measurement
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Planning and executing learning and development initiatives/events – managing multiple projects at once and thriving with both long term planning and immediate needs
  • PRODUCING RESULTS: Moving from ideas to action quickly and constantly moving things forward
  • USING TECHNOLOGY: Comfortable with basic productivity software (MS Office, Google Apps, Asana), Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone is a plus!) and platforms (online, mobile, social, etc), webinar/video conferencing tools
  • DETAIL ORIENTATION: Relentless quality control (grammar, voice, accuracy) and design application (branding, style aesthetics) in content and experiences
  • COLLABORATIVE SELF MANAGEMENT: Driven and motivated self-starter who can work autonomously AND manage up and across – building and maintaining strong relationships will be crucial to success
  • PRESENCE: Confident presentation skills and ability to comfortably speak in front of a group – including senior level leaders; Ability to communicate effectively and flexibly with a variety of audiences

Machine Operator: 3rd shift 11:00 pm-7:30 am

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment to press highest quality vitamins and supplements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:    

Pressing products for storage and shipment to the Bottling department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of related manufacturing experience required, ideally in a cGMP environment.
  • Must be able to read and write numbers accurately from work orders, labels and product lot numbers.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand long periods of time.
  • Requires excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

We are looking for a benefits professional to join our People Team! This highly visible role will take the lead in all things benefits and systems, and provide HR support on other People Team projects and initiatives. We are a small team and are looking for a fun, agile, service oriented collaborator to help us continue to make FoodState an amazing place to work!

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

Benefits Management:

  • Manage and coordinate all benefits programs; serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for internal customers
  • Manage relationship with our broker and (in partnership with FS leadership), make recommendations to augment and amend the total rewards offerings to ensure they are cost effective and competitive
  • Coordinate benefit open enrollment communications and administration
  • Prepare and send new employee orientation packages and present benefits to new employees during onboarding
  • Active participant in Safety committee
  • Process and manage W/C claims
  • ACA ambassador
  • Manage and administer all leaves under FMLA, ADA, STD, etc.
  • Coordination of annual 401k audits

Systems Administration:

  • Manage all Personnel Action Forms (hires, terminations, changes) and makes accurate and timely changes in HRIS
  • Responsible for periodic and ad hoc reporting, including headcount, turnover, etc and ensuring accuracy of data maintained in HRIS system
  • Performs a wide variety of record keeping across payroll and timekeeping platforms

HR Administration and Communication:

  • Maintains key company information on intranet (Organizational charts, contact information, etc.)
  • Responds to employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Provides regular postings on Google+ communities to share info related to employee benefits, health and wellness.
  • Maintains and administers employee recognition programs and communications (length of service, MVP)
  • Maintenance of employee records

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
  • 2-5 years of directly related experience administering benefits plans
  • Working knowledge of relevant current laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, ACA, etc.)
  • Experience with leave management
  • Experience with 401K administration
  • Experience with HRIS / Benefit Management system
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with Google suite, Paylocity, and/or HRIS system implementations would be a great plus!
