I have previously used your Women's MegaFlora Probiotic + Prebiotic (14 strains) because I was told by a friend that live cultures were better. I started wondering if they were even live since they are not refrigerated during shipping. Can you reply to that concern and also expand on whether the shelf-stable version is as effective? Thank you!
While they don't require refrigeration, shelf-stable probiotics are carefully chosen based on their survivability through the stomach acids and upper GI, and can often have the same efficacy as their refrigeration counterparts.
Will it hurt this product's effectiveness to store it in the refrigerator during the hot months in west Texas? My home is difficult to keep cool; it is typically in the mid-80s inside the house for many hours during the hottest months.
