- Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, at this time, we only offer our Vitamin D3 plus K & K2 with 5000 IU of Vitamin D3.
- I brought you vitamin D3 plus K & K2. I have two questions why does your vitamin have both K and K2, shouldn’t D3 only be paired with K2? Secondly, for every 5,000 IU of D3 it should be 50mcg of vitamin K2. Can you please explain why the ratio is off?
- Thank you for your thoughtful questions! Vitamin D3 is commonly paired with K2, but that doesn’t mean K1 isn’t appropriate to include! K1 and K2 are different forms of vitamin K, and including both helps provide a broader range of this essential nutrient. There’s no evidence that K1 interferes with the function of K2 in this context. The 5000 IU to 50 mcg K2 ratio is a common benchmark used in some supplements, but it’s not a clinically established requirement. Our formula provides 80 mcg of K2 per 5000 IU of D3, which is still in line with safe and supportive dosing practices. The extra K2 is not expected to negatively affect the D3 dose.
